Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer telepsychiatry?
Yes. All appointments are provided remotely via a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform.
Where are you licensed to practice?
I am licensed in New York and California and can only see patients who are physically located in those states at the time of the appointment.
What happens during the first appointment?
The initial evaluation lasts 60–90 minutes. We will review your history, current concerns, and goals, then discuss psychotherapy and, if appropriate, medication treatment options.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes. I am currently accepting new patients.
Do you take insurance?
I take Aetna insurance through Headway. For out of network/private pay patients I can provide a receipt (“superbill”) that you may submit to your insurance if you have out-of-network benefits.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 48 hours in advance to avoid a full session fee.
How long are follow-up appointments?
Follow-up sessions are typically 30 or 45 minutes, depending on your needs and the treatment plan we establish.
